Zombi Girl Productions makes theater at the edge of what language can hold. We are drawn to works that refuse consolation, plays that locate the erotic, the violent, and the sacred in the same body, often a woman's body, and that treat the stage as a place where meaning is made under pressure rather than delivered.

 

Our productions are small, precise, and intentional. We work with texts that have formal ambition, Howard Barker, Anne Carson, writers for whom the line between poetry and drama is a question worth asking, and we make them in spaces where that ambition can be felt at close range.
